🌱 Franklin Police Celebrate + TN Food Drive For Tornado Victims

The quickest way to get caught up on the most important things happening today in Franklin.

Good morning, Franklin! Like many of you, the Patch team is taking some time off to enjoy the holidays, so there will not be a newsletter in your inbox tomorrow. Here are the top three stories today in Franklin:

  1. Franklin Police celebrated recently sworn-in and promoted members. Detective Zach Wolfe was promoted to Sergeant, Officers John Toman and Daniel Ogilvie were promoted to Detective, Mari Brooks to Records Supervisor, and Nicole Sear to Senior Records Technician. Officers Todd Henderson, Tyler Munford, and Evelyn Williams were sworn in after completing the police academy. (Williamson Source)
  2. Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. acquired Franklin, TN-based Five Points Benefits Solutions, LLC. Five Points will "expand Gallagher's public sector benefit offerings in Tennessee and across the Heartland region," according to Chairman, President and CEO J. Patrick Gallagher, Jr. (Tullahoma News)
  3. Local fire departments announced a pop top canned food drive for tornado victims. They've partnered up with One Generation Away food bank to give out to those devastated by the overnight tornadoes. (franklintn.gov)
