Franklin Police Charge Two for Prostitution, One for Patronizing in Cool Springs Sting

Two California woman and a local man were charged late Friday night in a prostitution sting at a Cool Springs hotel.

FRANKLIN, TN — Two alleged prostitutes and an suspected john were charged in a sting by Franklin Police at a Cool Springs hotel late Friday.

Acting on a lead, detectives obtained search warrants for two rooms at the TownePlace Suites Hotel on South Springs Drive in Franklin. Detectives said that a stolen credit card was used to rent the rooms being used for prostitution.

Royale Nixon, 25, of Sacramento, Calif. and Destiny Wincentsen, 19, of Modesto, Calif., were arrested and charged with prostitution, identity theft, and credit card fraud. Both are jailed on $40,000 bonds. Detectives issued a misdemeanor citation, as required by law, to John Brennan, 58, of Franklin, charging him with patronizing prostitution. Brennan was "found with one of the women during the execution of the search warrants," police said.

Several cell phones, gift cards and more than $1,000 cash were seized.
