Franklin Police ID 'Person Of Interest' In Assault

Franklin Police are searching for a 24-year-old as part of an investigation into an April 25 attack.

FRANKLIN, TN — Franklin Police are trying to locate Thomas Jacob Christian Burns. Police say the 24-year-old is a person of interest in the April 25 attack of a woman on Toll House Circle. Detectives are also working to determine if that attack is connected to an earlier incident on Downs Boulevard.

Burns was arrested for assault March 25, but was recently released from the Williamson County Jail. Police say he is homeless and is believed to have been camping in a wooded area near Toll House Circle at the time of the attack in that area.
