Franklin Police Search For Fraudulent Shop-And-Swappers
Detectives say two people okeydoked a Franklin shoe stor

FRANKLIN, TN — Franklin Police are searching for two people who allegedly pulled the steal-and-swap scam at a shoe store.
On May 25 at DSW Shoes on Mallory Lane, an unidentified female bagged two pairs of shoes she took from a shelf in the store and handed the shoes to a male suspect identified as William Maynard, according to police. Maynard went to the register and returned the unpurchased merchandise for a refund. The two then left together in a dark-colored pickup truck.
