Franklin Sex Offender Failed To Register For 8 Years: Police
Franklin Police believe a convicted sex offender had been living in Franklin without registering for nearly a decade.

FRANKLIN, TN — A convicted sex offender had been living in Franklin for nearly a decade without registering as required by state law, according to Franklin Police.
Vittorio Villella, 52, was convicted in a child-sex case in Madison County, Ala., in 2009 and is believed to have been living in Williamson County without ever registering as a sex offender. Franklin Police, working with federal investigators, arrested Villella February 17, charging him with violation of the sex offender registry law. He is free on a $40,000 bond.
