Franklin Urges Special Census Participation, Announces Citywide Survey
A sample of 3,000 Franklin homes will be asked to take a special survey.

FRANKLIN, TN — Census cards are in the mail to every resident of the city of Franklin as the city undergoes a special census. In addition, the city has announced a special survey for select Franklin homes.
The city sent out census cards in late September as civic leaders believe population growth since the federal decennial census in 2010 should entitle Franklin to a larger share of state revenue. In addition, an updated census will improve infrastructure planning.
Residents can return the card or fill out the census online here. The census is very basic and just asks for the first and last names of everyone residing at the address.
