Franklin Woman Killed While Helping Dog
A Franklin woman stopped to aid an injured dog and was hit and killed by a passing SUV.

FRANKLIN, TN — A Franklin woman was struck and killed by an SUV while she stopped to help an injured dog on Hillsboro Road.
Robbin Holland, 60, apparently stopped to help the dog, itself hit by a car, around 8:45 p.m. when she was hit by an SUV. She was taken to Williamson County Medical Center and was pronounced dead. The dog also died.

The driver is a 71-year-old Thompson Station woman who was not identified. No charges were filed.
