  1. For the fourth consecutive year, Grassland Middle School (GMS) is the winner of the annual Battle of the Books. On Tuesday, Apr. 5, Williamson County middle schools competed to see who could answer the most questions about eight books from the list of Volunteer State Book Award nominees. After three rounds of 24 questions, GMS ended the evening with a victory. (Williamson Source)

  • The Williamson County Animal Shelter's monthly rabies and microchip clinic for dogs and cats will be held at their new facility located at 1006 Grigsby Hayes Court, Franklin. All are welcome! No appointment is necessary, but you may expedite your visit by registering your pet online ahead of time. Microchips are $15 and rabies shots are $10; cash or check only. (Facebook)
  • If you are interested in helping your library and your community, please come and join the Friends of the Bethesda Library for their monthly meeting on Apr. 20.
