- At 5 p.m. today, the City of Franklin is holding a public meeting of the Historic Zoning Commission at 109 3rd Ave. S. Interested citizens may attend in-person, or participate virtually by watching the meeting on FranklinTV, the City of Franklin website, or the City of Franklin's Facebook and YouTube accounts. Items on the agenda include the Preliminary HZC Recommendation Request for Emeline Acres Subdivision and consideration of several Certificate of Appropriateness (COA) applications. (City of Franklin)
- The American Alliance of Orthopaedic Executives (AAOE) has named Franklin-based Bone and Joint Institute of Tennessee as the 2021 Practice of the Year, and CEO Darren Harris was named Practice Executive of the Year.
