- The Heritage Foundation of Williamson County has decided to turn Franklin's McConnell House into the History and Culture Center of Williamson County. The announcement was made on Monday by Foundation president Bari Beasley. The new center will feature interactive exhibits and meeting spaces. (Tennessean)

Lane Locke was paroled in 2010 for good behavior after being sentenced to 55 years in prison for his alleged involvement in a botched armed robbery. Locke is being held at the Williamson County Jail.
