- The Franklin Kiwanis Christmas Parade will be back with a different route on Saturday, Dec. 4. The parade will begin at the intersection of Highway 96 and Fifth Avenue in downtown Franklin before continuing on Bridge Street to Third Avenue, then around the square to Main Street before ending at 11th Avenue. - HCA Healthcare, the nation's largest hospital operator, has purchased through a subsidiary called Judson Holdings LLC a 30-acre development site in Williamson County for a reported $25.5 million. The site, dubbed Franklin Summit, is one of the largest vacant, developable chunks of land in the area. (williamsonherald.com)
