- Bernice King, daughter of Martin Luther King, Jr., is speaking out against the use of her father's image and name in advertisements for an upcoming Franklin conference. The American Dream Conference, taking place at The Factory at Franklin on Friday, Jan. 14 and Saturday, Jan. 15, is being advertised by the Williamson County chapter of Moms for Liberty as an event that "examines the American Dream of Dr. Martin Luther King and features a number of national speakers who continue to warn about the dangers of critical race theory."(Free: Yahoo!, Subscription: Tennessean)
- Over 300 Williamson County Schools (WCS) students have played their way onto the Tennessee Mid-State and All-State Bands and Orchestras.
