Here are the top three stories in Franklin today:
- The Franklin Theatre will begin hosting The Movie Gang on Jul. 3. The first movie in the series will be a special screening of "Back To The Future." In addition to the screening, attendees will have the opportunity to participate in movie trivia and an 80s dance party following the film. (Williamson Source)
- The Franklin Police Department has arrested Joshua Gardner for his involvement in a May 26 shooting. Gardner turned himself in to the department on May 28. He has been released on a $7,500 bond and will appear in court on Jul. 14. (Press Release Desk)
- The 2nd Annual Celebration of Freedom will be held on Jun. 18 in downtown Franklin. The event will be hosted by the Franklin Justice and Equity Coalition and sponsored by Mars Petcare. Participants will have the opportunity to enjoy live entertainment, diverse vendors, a kid's zone, and much more. (Downtown Franklin)
