Need a Cat for Your Cradle? Williamson County Animal Center Has Plenty
WCAC has too many cats.
FRANKLIN, TN — Meow hear this: Williamson County Animal Center is over cat-pacity.
Due to a surfeit of felines — so many that some animals are being sheltered temporarily in the WCAC garage — adoption fees on cats, kittens and dogs over 1-year-old are being waived. Puppies under one year are $85.
“I have never seen a time when our shelter needs have been greater than now, and this is where we need the public’s help. We are waiving fees until we get through this crisis," Laura Chavarria, director of the animal center, told the Franklin Home Page.
