Here are the top stories in Franklin today:
- A new video has been released of the thieves who rammed through a security gate at Foriest Tree Care on Sunday to steal three specialty vehicles and two trailers. Footage from the Columbia Avenue, Franklin business shows a dark-colored Nissan trailing behind the stolen vehicles. Detectives say this car is the one the thieves originally arrived in and was being driven away by an accomplice. Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward for any information about this incident. - Burlington has set an opening date for its new Franklin location. The new store will open one week from today on Friday, Oct. 29th at 545 Cool Springs Blvd. Burlington will occupy the former Stein Mart location, two doors down from the new Trader Joe's. (Williamson Source)
- The Friends of Williamson County Animal Center is sponsoring a free rabies vaccination and microchipping event at 106 Claude Yates Drive (next to Franklin High School) from Oct. 26 through Oct. 29., 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. each day. (Williamson Source)
- Lots of exciting events are happening in and around Franklin this weekend, including a FHS Varsity Football game tonight and several children's programs at the Williamson County Public Library. (Franklin Patch)
