<p>Join us at Franklin's huge new Bicentennial Park and Pavilion for a relaxing, family-friendly JUNETEENTH afternoon (June 19, 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.) hosted by the African American Heritage Society of Williamson County. </p>
<p>Celebrate freedom, friendship, and unity, and enjoy live entertainment and music, 9 delicious local food trucks and 60+ vendors/community info tables, traditional Cake Walks, Bingo, line dancing, raffle prizes, basketball competitions and volley ball games, a fabulous Kids' Zone (with free hot dogs for the first 300 kids), a free Franklin Walking Tour at 2:30 of the historic cemetery across the street where formerly enslaved were buried, and much more! </p>
<p> Invite your family and friends, and bring your lawn chairs and blankets. All are welcome! If you'd like to volunteer to help make this meaningful annual event extra special, please email BethJMcDonald@aol.com.</p>
