Here are the top three stories in Franklin today:

  1. DICK'S Sporting Goods has opened a new warehouse sale store on S Royal Oaks in Franklin. The new store is in the former site of the Trees n' Trends store. Popular brands such as North Face and Columbia will be offered at the store up to 70 percent off. Customers can still use their loyalty ScoreCard at the new warehouse sale store. (Williamson Source)
  2. Williamson County students have access to a new tool to address bullying. The new online portal will allow students to anonymously report bullying or harassment.   3. Tennessee lawmakers are reacting to the indictment of Franklin's Rep. Glen Casada. Some lawmakers have expressed anger and report that Tennessee families deserve better from elected officials. Some lawmakers are saddened by the indictment and have expressed resentment that a legislator's career will end this way. Both sides of the aisle condemned Casada for the allegations. (WREG)
