Peare Creek Elementary Teacher Wins Williamson County Teacher of the Year

Peare Creek fourth-grade teacher Sarah Roberts named county's best elementary teacher

FRANKLIN, TN β€” Williamson County Schools named Peare Creek Elementary fourth-grade teacher Sarah Roberts the district's Elementary School Teacher of the Year for 2016-17 at an awards ceremony Thursday.

Roberts said she loves the unpredictability of her job.

β€œAs a teacher, every day is new and different,” she said. β€œYou never know exactly what you’re going to walk into. You’ve got some control over the intent of your standards, but other than that it’s a response to the kids and how they respond to you, and there’s such an engagement piece to that.”
