Prostitution Sting Busts 3: Franklin Police

Two Davidson County men and one from Brentwood are charged with patronizing prostitution in Franklin.

FRANKLIN, TN — Two men from Davidson County and one from Brentwood were arrested by Franklin Police, charged with patronizing prostitution in a reverse sting, the department says.

Franklin Police flex officers and vice detectives charged Norman Leeper of Nashville, Surendra Kumar of Brentwood, and Charles Griffeth of Goodlettsville with patronizing prostitution. Utilizing an Internet site frequented by prostitutes, undercover officers arranged to meet the suspects who were seeking sex for hire, according to police. The men arrived at an undisclosed Franklin hotel and offered an informant cash for sex, detectives said. Leeper is also charged with physically assaulting the police informant.
