- This weekend, the Heritage Foundation of Williamson County held its 36th annual PumpkinFest in downtown Franklin. Presented by FirstBank, the beloved community event returned with a full schedule of live music and entertainment on two stages. Despite the drizzle of rain, crowds were eager to attend the 2021 PumpkinFest after a pandemic hiatus in 2020. (Williamson Source)
- Newly-elected Franklin aldermen Jason Potts (Ward 3), Patrick Bagget (Ward 4), and Gabrielle Hanson (at-large alderman) spoke at Friday's Policy Talks event at Columbia State Community College Williamson Campus. Moderated by Dave Crouch, the panel covered issues of "smart" growth due to population growth, traffic, and quality of life in Franklin. - The 2021 State of the Schools event will be held tomorrow, Nov. 2, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Williamson County Ag Expo Park, located at 4215 Long Lane in Franklin.
