  1. Ramsey Solutions is facing a federal lawsuit after the termination of an employee, Julie Anne Stamps, who identified as lesbian. The supervisor encouraged the employee to see a Christian counselor who could "save" someone from homosexuality. This lawsuit is not the first that is accusing Ramsey of a discriminatory work environment. (The Tennessean)
  2. Blood donations are needed after a Memphis-area mass shooting. The Blood Assurance organization was contacted to provide multiple emergency units of blood to treat victims on Thursday night. All blood types are in high demand, but there is a critical need for donations from those with O-negative or O-positive blood. (Press Release Desk)
  3. A member of the Alabama National Guard was arrested Thursday after a grand jury indictment in Williamson County, charging him with several sex crimes against a minor.(WSMV)
  4. A former employee broke into an Italian restaurant in East Nashville, and he is being charged with burglary. (WKRN News 2)
  5. The director of a new HBO docuseries on a weight loss church in Brentwood, called "The Way Down: God, Greed and the Cult of Gwen Shamblin," wants to help people 'get out.' (Tennessean)
