- As World Autism Awareness Month begins, Nashville Parent highlights what Middle Tennessee has to offer with multiple sensory-friendly activities, as well as resources for families with members on the autism spectrum. One such activity is We Rock the Spectrum in Franklin, which has sensory activities where children can play with specialized equipment, a trampoline, swings, and a zip line. Admission is $16 per child. (Nashville Parent)
- Huckleberry Brewing will open soon in Franklin at 600 Frazier Drive, which is the previous location of Cool Springs Brewery. While there is not currently an opening date, they did share on social media on Friday, Apr. 1 that opening details were coming soon. A website, with limited information, has been created for the brewery. (Williamson Source)
- Ellina Lesnik and her three daughters, who fled Ukraine in the midst of the war, are staying with friends in Brentwood, just outside of Franklin. Lesnik's husband is helping deliver aid such as clothes, food, and medicine to Ukrainians. Lesnik is helping her husband's efforts by sharing her story at churches and homes; she's raised about $50,000. (News Channel 5 Nashville)
