Here are the top three stories today in Franklin:

  1. The Franklin Police Department is searching for a man that fired several rounds near Short Court on Thursday night. Joshua Gardner, 32, reportedly assaulted a woman and fired a weapon during the incident. Anyone with information regarding Gardner or the incident is advised to contact the department. (WKRN News 2)
  2. The bridal store "Dearly Beloved" will be opening in downtown Franklin on Jun. 3. The shop is owned and operated by Franklin native Raegen Davis. The store is unique in its reasonably priced dresses (under $1200) and its zero wait time for ordering. The store is located at 135 2nd Avenue N. (Williamson Source)
  3. The Williamson County Public Library has an app that allows residents to download and read free eBooks and eAudiobooks. Libby is an app that can be downloaded to smartphones and tablets. For a hands-on demonstration of Libby, residents just have to bring a library card and an electronic device to the library. (Press Release Desk)
