🌱 Taste Of Franklin Returns + Motel Murder Arrest In Franklin

The quickest way to get caught up on the most important things happening today in Franklin.

Hey, neighbors! It's me again, Sammi Caramela, your host of the Franklin Daily.


First, today's weather:

A few t-storms, some severe. High: 70 Low: 60.


Here are the top three stories in Franklin today:

  1. The Taste of Franklin event will return in January. There will be more than 20 local restaurants, chefs, and catering establishments, as well as live music and a silent auction. It will be held on Jan. 29 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Franklin High School. (Williamson Source)
  2. A Georgia woman was arrested for a motel killing in Franklin. She has been charged with the murder of 38-year-old Charles Stephen Holmberg. Detectives claim the woman was in a relationship with Holmberg prior to the murder. (NewsChannel5.com)
  3. The Pond In Franklin has a new look, but it's still the same dive bar people love. Along with a new bar they implemented a non-smoking policy, though smokers can now enjoy company with The Pond's great back patio. The Pond also has weekly events and an Everyday Happy Hour for everyone to enjoy. (Williamson Source)
