Here are the top stories today in Franklin:
- Franklin Police are investigating a case of three stolen trucks from a tree care company. Surveillance video shows suspects ramming through a security gate and stealing the vehicles from the business around 2:30 early Sunday morning. Two 2019 white Dodge Ram 5500 flatbed pickup trucks and a 2018 Ford F550 pickup truck were taken. (News Channel 5 Nashville)
- A statue honoring U.S. Colored Troops will be unveiled and in Franklin this weekend. The statue is part of the "Fuller Story Initiative" to honor African American soldiers and will be located in front of the Historic Courthouse. (WZTV)
- Franklin-based Core10, a fintech software development company, recently acquired St. Louis-based Accrue Technologies Inc. Core10, founded five years, is backed by Nashville's Fintop Capital. (Nashville Business Journal)
- Ronnie Tutt, the drummer for Elvis and the Jerry Garcia Band, died on Saturday at his Franklin home. (Williamson Source)
