Trump-Pence Campaign Bus Is Making Pit Stop in Franklin: Report

FRANKLIN, TN — Residents will get to see a piece of the 2016 presidential campaign up close this weekend, as a Trump-Pence campaign bus makes a stop in Franklin, according to a media report.

Until 1 p.m. today, the bus will be at the Williamson County Republican Party headquarters at 1143 Columbia Ave., The Williamson Source reports.

Election Day is getting closer. Voters across the country will go to the polls on Nov. 8 to choose the next president. The Republican candidate, real estate billionaire Donald Trump, and his running mate for vice president, Indiana Gov. Mike Pence, are taking on the Democratic Party's picks - former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and her running mate, U.S. Sen. Timothy Kaine.

The Trump-Pence bus is arriving from Florida and will pick up volunteers from Tennessee before hitting the road Monday to get out the vote in other states, the county GOP chairman told The Williamson Source.
