- A concert violinist entertained at Franklin's Five Points Post Office. Paul Johnian performed Christmas carols for works and customers on Wednesday after employees invited him to share his talent. Johnian has performed in Carnegie Hall, the Pentagon, and the White House. (Williamson Herald)
- Angel Tree gifts delight Hard Bargain residents in a continuing tradition. Each year, residents of the historic African American neighborhood in Franklin receive gifts to place under the tree. Many organizations participate in the Angel Tree program, and they offer a virtual one, as well. (Williamson Herald)
- The Slavery and Enslaved at Carnton tour will examine "one of America's largest paradoxes" where freedom was denied to millions, yet the nation claimed to be one of equality for all. The tour will be held on Dec. 28 from 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. It is not recommended for children. (Battle of Franklin Trust)
