WATCH: Would-Be Thieves Use Stolen Caddy to Bust-In to Franklin's Arms and Ammo, Leave With Neither
Franklin Police are searching for three suspects who broke into Arms and Ammo December 26.
FRANKLIN, TN — A trio of would-be thieves used a stolen Cadillac to break into Arms and Ammo December 26, but left with neither arms nor ammo. Franklin Police are searching for the men, who later abandoned the Cadillac.
Late on December 26, security footage captured three men casing the gun store at 100 Beasley Drive and then backing a Cadillac into the store window to gain access. Video shows the men, whose faces are all obscured by cinched-up hoodies, attempting to ransack the store. Franklin Police say they were flummoxed by "extreme security measures" and left without stealing anything.
The Cadillac, which had been stolen out of Nashville, was found abandoned on Carr Avenue. The suspects are believed to have fled in a Mercury Grand Marquis.
