Williamson County School Bus Stops, Routes Now Available

FRANKLIN, TN — It's almost back-to-school time and as part of the pre-matriculation preparations, parents can now confirm their child's school bus stop and route online.

Williamson County Schools has posted the transportation information and said it is likely to change "very little" before classes begin August 10. (For more updates on this story and free news alerts for your neighborhood, sign up for your local Middle Tennessee Patch morning newsletter.)

“We encourage parents to locate their child’s route information as early as possible,” WCS Planning and Zoning Manager Allison Nunley said. “Bus information will change very little between now and August 10. We do have a walk policy of up to a quarter of a mile for students of all ages living inside subdivisions.”

Parents should email Nunley at allisonn@wcs.edu or call (615) 472-4950 if they live on a main or rural road and need a bus stop. Bus riders should arrive at the stop at least five minutes prior to the published time.
