FRANKLIN, TN — Williamson County Schools students return to class after Christmas break Monday, January 9, beginning the spring half of the 2016-17 academic year. Here are some key dates to remember for the second semester.

  • January 9: First day of second semester
  • January 16: Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, schools closed
  • February 20: Presidents Day/Professional Development Day, no students
  • March 15: End of Third Quarter
  • March 20-24: Spring Break
  • March 27: Professional Development Day (no student)
  • April 14: Good Friday, schools closed
  • May 23: Half day for students, last day of school
  • May 25-27: Graduation window
