61-Year-Old Motorcyclist Killed In Bellevue Crash

A man died after he was thrown from his motorcycle on Hicks Road Thursday morning.

BELLEVUE, TN — A 61-year-old Bellevue man died Thursday after he was thrown off his motorcycle near his home on Hicks Road.

Bruce Bradley, 61, was riding his 2015 BMW motorcycle on Hicks Road when he failed to negotiate a curve in the roadway and struck a driveway culvert, throwing him from his motorcycle. He landed in some dense vegetation near a creek bed, according to Metro Police.

Around 10 a.m., a woman out for a walk discovered Bradley's body. The exact time of the crash is unknown, though a man told police he noticed a knocked-over mailbox when he was on his way to work around 7:30 that morning.

Investigators said there was no evidence of drug or alcohol involvement at the scene, but toxicology testing is being conducted.
