Bellevue Bank Robber Sought By Metro Police, FBI

The US Bank in Bellevue was robbed Tuesday morning.

BELLEVUE, TN — Metro police and the FBI’s Violent Crimes Task Force are working to identify the man who robbed US Bank’s Bellevue branch at 9:55 a.m. Tuesday.

The robber was wearing a dark ball cap and a traffic vest over a dark hooded sweatshirt that appeared to have paint on the sleeves. After presenting a robbery demand note to a teller — who complied —the man fled in a white Chevrolet Express work van on Interstate 40 East towards Nashville proper.

The robber is a 5-foot-7-inch black man who wore eyeglasse in his late 40s or early 50s.
