Booze Burglary In Green Hills

Booze-related break-ins have been a trend all summer in Nashville. The latest is in Green Hills.

NASHVILLE, TN — Nashville has seen a number of smash-and-grab robberies of liquor stores this summer, with the latest hitting a Green Hills location.

Shortly before 1 a.m. Saturday, police responded to Bud's Liquors and Wine on Abbott Martin where someone had busted the front window with a rock.

Investigators said the thief stole only $100 or so of liquor, though in other break-ins throughout Metro, often the booze bandits leave with similarly small hauls.

Detectives were gathering security camera footage. No suspect description was immediately available.
