Don't Speed In The Meade: Harding Place Speed Limit Drops April 15

BELLE MEADE, TN — The speed limit on Harding Place in Belle Meade between Lynwood Boulevard and Westover Avenue will drop to 25 mph effective April 15.

The speed limit for trucks — which according to the Belle Meade City Code is any vehicle with a capacity of at least one and a half tons — will remain 20 mph.

"This speed limit change, along with a proposed sidewalk project on Harding Place, should make this heavily travelled street much safer for pedestrians and motorists," Belle Meade Mayor Jim Hunt said in the city's monthly newsletter
