Green Hills House Fire Kills 1
One person died in a massive overnight fire on Battery Lane.
NASHVILLE, TN — A monstrous house fire on Battery Lane killed one person early Sunday morning. Firefighters arrived at the home in the 1000 block of Battery Lane around 2 a.m. One person escaped the blaze, but the other — who was not identified — was trapped inside.
The home, which was destroyed, sets back from the road at a considerable distance behind a row of trees.

Nashville Fire crews had to disconnect the gas line before beginning the battle. Crews from across town were called to the house to assist with the fight.
