Green Hills Week-Ahead Weather: A Stormy Start, A Cooler End

Wind and rain will roll into Green Hills for the first half of the week, giving way to cooler temperatures.

GREEN HILLS, TN — After a rain and wind dominate the first half of the week, temperatures cool off again, according to the National Weather Service forecast for Green Hills.

Monday: A 70 percent chance of showers with thunderstorms possible, a high of 65. Winds of 15 to 25 mph gusting up to 35 mph. Showers and storms virtually certain overnight, low of 52. Winds of 15 to 25 mph decreasing to 5 to 15 mph after midnight. Gusts of up to 40 mph are possible.

Tuesday: Sunny, with a high of 72. An 80 percent chance of showers and storms develops into the night with a low of 52. Winds of 10 to 15 mph could gust up to 20 mph.

Wednesday: A 50 percent chance of showers, particularly before noon, otherwise high of 62. Winds of 5 to 15 mph could gust up to 25 mph. Partly cloudy after dark, low of 37.

Thursday: Sunny and cooler, high of 50. Clear overnight, low of 33.

Friday: Mostly sunny with a high of 51. A partly cloudy night, low of 32.
