Huge West Nashville Bust Includes Pot-Infused Gummy Bears, 56 Pounds of Marijuana
Metro Police seized more than $150,000 in drugs during a bust in West Meade and Charlotte Park.

NASHVILLE, TN — A month-long investigation into a high-grade marijuana operation resulted in the seizure of more than 56 pounds of high-end pot, more than $36,000 in cash, and a veritable buffet of marijuana edibles.
Daniel Cleary, 34, of Belton Drive in West Meade is charged with two counts of possessing marijuana for resale and possession of drug paraphernalia and is being held on an $80,000 bond.
Police raided Cleary's home and discovered two pounds of premium processed marijuana and a variety of edibles, including numerous marijuana-infused gummy bears. Police also seized $36,235 in cash and then discovered that Cleary rented a storage unit on Annex Avenue in Charlotte Park.

In that unit, investigators found another 54.5 pounds of marijuana. MNPD estimates the street value of the pot and pot products at $150,000.
