Man Shot In West Nashville Hold-Up

A man was shot during a stick-up at a West Nashville apartment complex early Sunday.

NASHVILLE, TN — A man sitting in his truck outside a West Nashville apartment complex was robbed and shot early Sunday morning, police say.

A man wearing all-white approached the victim and another man around 3:45 a.m. outside the Rolling Hills Apartments on Premier Drive and demanded money. The two complied and one of the pair gave the suspect a cell phone.

Nevertheless, the situation escalated and the suspect shot the victim, grazing his leg, and then ran into some nearby woods. K-9 units were unable to locate the man in white.

The victim was taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.
