Pegram Woman Missing Since Saturday Found Dead At Nashville Trash Disposal Site

Ashley Brown's friends reported her missing after she left a party without her purse and car.

NASHVILLE, TN — The body of a 27-year-old Pegram women missing after leaving a party at a friend's apartment early Saturday morning was found Wednesday at an East Nashville trash disposal site.

A worker at the site at 1160 Freightliner Drive found Ashley Brown's body around 4:15 a.m. Wednesday. Police believe the body was brought there by a trash truck. They are re-tracing the route of the truck to determine where Brown's body was picked up.

An autopsy will be conducted to determine the cause of death.

Friends of Ashley Brown reported her missing Saturday night and said she left a party in the 200 block of 25th Avenue North around 4:30 that morning. They said she was intoxicated and did not take her purse or her car. Her landlord in Pegram entered her home there Saturday and it did not appear as if she had been home.
