Police: Passed Out Man Tries to Run Over First Responders, Flees, Passes Out Again
Metro Police say a 45-year-old man ran over multiple emergency vehicles, fled and then was arrested after passing out.

NASHVILLE, TN — A man passed out in the driver's seat of his car early Saturday morning was awakened from his slumber by police and firefighters, who he then tried to run over, investigators say.
Michael Harvey, 45, was found unconscious in the front seat of his car near the Vanderbilt University campus and was roused when emergency personnel approached his car in an effort to help. He then threw the car into reverse, very nearly hitting police and firefighters. Harvey did manage to escape, police say, but not before hitting a Vanderbilt University police cruiser, causing front-end damage.
Harvey was found about a half-mile away a short time later, again passed out. Police say he admitted to smoking marijuana and drinking.
