Tennessee Unemployment Rate Holds Steady in November
The state's jobless figure stayed at 4.8 percent in November.

NASHVILLE, TN — Tennessee's unemployment rate held steady in November at 4.8 percent, finally flattening off after steady rises from the nine-year-low of 4.1 percent in May and June.
The U.S. preliminary rate for October was 4.6 percent, down from 4.9 percent in October.
Despite the recent upticks, the unemployment rate in Tennessee is still down 0.8 percent over the past year.
