• Collierville educator named 2026-27 Tennessee Teacher of the Year (wknofm.org) — A Halls Elementary School teacher, Tabatha DePriest, has been named West Grand Division Teacher of the Year, bringing statewide recognition to Lauderdale County schools. The state’s Excellence in Education celebration also honored Lauderdale County’s assistant superintendent and several Memphis-area educators, while a Collierville STEM teacher earned overall Tennessee Teacher of the Year.
