• Hendersonville police searching for alleged cashier scam artist (wkrn.com) — Hendersonville police are warning residents after a man allegedly used sleight-of-hand tactics at the local Walmart to walk away with hundreds of dollars in unearned gift card value. Investigators say the suspect repeatedly handled and palmed cash to confuse the cashier, and they’re asking anyone who recognizes him or his methods to contact HPD to help stop similar scams.
