⢠Smiling all the way, student overcomes disability to publicly profess faith in Christ (christianindex.org) ā A Hendersonville congregation recently celebrated as Alex Rios, a non-verbal adult student in First Baptist Churchās Peer Place program, publicly professed his Christian faith and was baptized there on April 19. The story highlights how the churchās growing Peer Place ministry in Sumner County supports adults with developmental disabilities through Bible study, life-skills training, and daily encouragement.

⢠Greenbrier sex crimes suspect arrested in Canada (wkrn.com) ā A Greenbrier sex-crimes suspect who once lived in a Hendersonville apartment raided by a local SWAT team has now been arrested in Canada after allegedly fleeing Tennessee. Greenbrier police are working with federal and Canadian authorities to return him so he can face numerous felony charges in state court.

⢠Greyson Sturgis scores āunbelievable' scissor kick, continuing Hume-Fogg's unbeaten soccer season (mainstreetmediatn.com) ā Hendersonvilleās boys soccer team edged Hillsboro 3-2 in the Region 6-AAA bracket, part of a busy Sumner County postseason slate. Elsewhere, Hume-Fogg stayed unbeaten with a spectacular scissor-kick goal against Liberty Creek and advanced to face Station Camp for the Region 5-AA title.

- Anyone missing a calico cat.
Weāve had one come out at night to eat. This is in the Luna Ln., Walton ferry area. It might have been missing a while not sure. (Nextdoor Walton Ferry Peninsula)
- Further to my post of the Tortoishell cat thatās coming to my porch to eat, itās very scared possibly feral, I couldnāt get a picture but itās very similar to one of my inside cats.
