📰 News we're reading
• Eagle Scout upgrades Hendersonville Police Department's Bike Office (mainstreetmediatn.com) — Hendersonville’s Police Department Bike Office just got a major facelift thanks to Eagle Scout Logan Frost, who designed and built new hanging racks, shelving, and uniform stations. The yearlong project, completed with help from family and fellow Scouts, earned him a proclamation from Mayor Jamie Clary and gives officers a more organized, efficient bike workspace.
• Public Notices – Hendersonville Standard – October 01, 2026 (mainstreetmediatn.com) — Hendersonville is seeking bids for police electronic access controls, city hall HVAC replacement, and as‑needed tree planting, with deadlines running through late October. City leaders also finalized several ordinances updating zoning rules, municipal code provisions, and building standards, while Sumner County posted multiple estate creditor notices that may matter if you have outstanding claims.
