• Kingston Spring Volunteer Fire Dept. receives $35K grant (mainstreetmediatn.com) — Kingston Springs Volunteer Fire Department has secured a $35,400 state grant to buy new safety equipment and improve firefighter training, directly boosting protection for local residents. Town officials credit firefighter Daniel Patrick Shaffer for writing the successful application, and Chief Jeremy Vaughan says the funding will help members serve Kingston Springs more safely and efficiently.
