• MTSU Graduating Veterans Stole Ceremony highlights academic achievements, service (mtsunews.com) — Lafayette’s own Logan Duncan, a Tennessee Army National Guard member and MTSU aerospace major, was honored with the Journey Award at Middle Tennessee State University’s Graduating Veterans Stole Ceremony. The event in Murfreesboro celebrated 94 student veterans whose perseverance carried them through deployments, academic setbacks, and the challenges of balancing service with school.
   

• Deanna Dolland Massey (wilsoncountysource.com) — Lafayette’s Anderson & Son Funeral Home is overseeing arrangements for 74-year-old Deanna Dolland Massey of Lebanon, whose celebration of life will be held May 16 in Mt. Juliet. Her family invites memorial gifts to Nashville Alive Hospice or the American Cancer Association in her honor.
