Early Voting Starts in 2016 Election in Smyrna

Here's where you can get a sample ballot and cast your vote.

SMYRNA, TN — The polls opened Wednesday for early voting in the 2016 general election, and voters in Rutherford County can cast ballots at Smyrna City Hall and six other locations. Early voting will close on Nov. 3.

The races involve candidates for president, the U.S. House of Representatives and the state legislature, as well as local government positions. For a sample ballot, photo ID requirements and more information, check out Rutherford County's Election Central website - click here.

The early voting hours at Smyrna City Hall, 315 South Lowry St., are 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday to Friday, and 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturdays. The polling location is in the rear of the building, off Enon Springs Road.

Early voting also is taking place at the LaVergne Civic Auditorium, 283 Old Nashville Highway, at the same hours.

Five locations in Murfreesboro are also hosting early voting. The hours are the same as at Smyrna City Hall, except where noted:
