Expect Traffic Delays In La Vergne Friday Night During 5K
Live 4 Tay 5K will close the westbound lanes of Murfreesboro Road from 6 to 8 p.m.
LA VERGNE, TN — Traffic will likely be slow through the heart of La Vergne Friday night.
The westbound lanes of Murfreesboro Road between the La Vergne Public Library to the La Vergne Post Office will be closed from 6 to 8 p.m. for the Live4Tay 5K. All traffic will be diverted into the eastbound lanes during the race.
The 5K benefits the Live 4 Tay Foundation, which provides financial assistance grants to help families who have children with cancer. Registration ($20 day of the race) for the 5K begins at 6 p.m. and the race begins at 7 p.m. at Veterans Memorial Park.

There will also be a Play 4 Tay benefit softball tournament running all weekend at Veterans Memorial Park.
