George Bailey, I'll Love You 'Til The Day I Die: 'It's A Wonderful Life' Hits Smyrna Stage This Weekend

SMYRNA, TN — Bedford Falls comes to the corner of Old Nashville Highway and Rock Springs Road this weekend, as the Springhouse Theater presents three shows of the stage version of the beloved holiday classic "It's A Wonderful Life."

The tale of George Bailey and the doddering guardian angel Clarence Odbody who is sent to show him how different and dark the world would be without him comes to life at 7:30 Friday and Saturday nights with a 3:30 matinee Sunday.

Tickets are $15 for adults, $12 for seniors and $10 for children 4 to 12. Children under 4 are not permitted. Tickets can be purchased on line.

The production is directed by David Smith, was a theater professor at Springfield, Mo.'s Evangel University for more than 36 years. George Bailey is portrayed by newcomer Brad Brown, with Clarence played by audience favorite T.J. Haynes.
