A witness said Walden, who also had an 11-year-old son and 7-year-old son, hesitated before pulling out on to Nolensville Road. The witness said he truck was not running lights or sirens and Huffines said while the truck was responding to a call, it had been cancelled at the time of the crash. The Tennessee Highway Patrol is investigating.
“There’s not a lot of details that have been given,” said Mitchell, Nikki’s older brother, told WKRN this week. “We’ll just kind of let THP do their thing, and they can determine what happened.”
